The Worship Team Ministry is a part of the Sunday Service; the core function is leading the congregation through singing during Worship Services, however, they also minister to the members of the team on a personal level through spiritual oversight, group prayer, and discipleship. At the core of the Worship Ministry, we hold to these two points, upward and outward.
Upward:
We believe that our Sunday Worship is primarily for God; thus, our song selection emphasises our attention “upward” (Psalm 22:3; Psalm 145).
Outward:
We believe that our Sunday Worship exalts God, that blesses Him and His people, thus having a positive “outward” effect on those who come into our fellowship. Our emphasis, therefore, will be on music and production that is God-honoring (1 Corinthians 14:24-25).
Do you have a heart for Praise and Worship leading others with voice or instrumentation in Worship? We’d love to hear from you, speak to one of our Worship Team leaders. You’ll typically be serving once a month on Saturday 6-8pm and Sunday 8am-12pm.
Closely related to the Worship Team is the Audio and Visual Ministry, who serve to maintain the technical side of our Worship Services; including camera, projector, lighting, audio operation, and setup/pack up. Aligning to the Ministry standards the Audio and Visual Ministry also builds one another up through personal fellowship and one on one discipleship seeking to reproduce technicians skilled both spiritual and technically.
If God has given you the desire to serve through the technical aspects of our Sunday Services, we’d love to hear from you. Speak to one of the Audio and Visual members, no prior training is required; you’ll typically serve Sunday 8am-12pm twice a month.
